I said it.<\/p>\n And all the less than ethical people selling you biz-ops and courses that promise to be magic \u201conline money buttons\u201d that bring you lots of money without effort are… are… LIARS.<\/p>\n One other thang:<\/p>\n Coddled, whiny pussies are NEVER gonna be successful with ANY business. (And most likely they\u2019ll never be successful with ANYTHING. Other than making excuses.)<\/p>\n Here\u2019s what prompted this rant.<\/p>\n Just like I told ya yesterday, I\u2019m not gonna mention any names or specific people. The person I\u2019ll talk about in this email is a composite. So if you\u2019re one of the people who have contacted me and you think I\u2019m talking about you, you\u2019re mistaken.<\/p>\n Onward.<\/p>\n Regardless of what method I teach to get customers or clients, there\u2019s always some whiny little pussy who says, \u201cI tried it and it didn\u2019t work.\u201d<\/p>\n My response?<\/p>\n \u201cWanna know what REALLY didn\u2019t work? YOU!\u201d<\/p>\n \u2019Cuz when I interrogate him (it\u2019s ALWAYS the guys, never the ladies… nowadays they have more balls than most men) they usually admit this:<\/p>\n \u201cI sent out five of the sales letters\/emails you recommend and I didn\u2019t get any calls from clients wanting to write me a big check.\u201d<\/p>\n Incredulous, I respond, \u201cFive letters\/emails? Only five?\u00a0 Wait a minute. You believe that you only need to send five sales letters and thousands of dollars are gonna flood into your bank account? You don\u2019t need marketing help, you need a psychiatrist or medication. Maybe both. Or maybe locked up in the nuthouse.\u201d<\/p>\n Well, I think that in my mind. I never say it out loud. (Not anymore.)<\/p>\n Nor do I try to educate him to the realities of business and how it functions in this\u00a0maya<\/em>\u00a0existence. Because more than three decades of experience has shown me that it\u2019s a waste of time.<\/p>\n Someone born a whiny, excuse-making pussy with no testicles will die a whiny, excuse-making pussy with no testicles. And sadly, I\u2019ve seen very, very,<\/em>\u00a0VERY few exceptions to that during my entrepreneurial career.<\/p>\n You either got it or you don\u2019t.<\/p>\n And NOTHING about starting, running and growing a business is easy. Especially STARTING a business. And a DDD (dopamine dependent dreamer) and\/or a whiny, excuse-making pussy with no testicles shouldn\u2019t even try. He (again, I\u2019ve NEVER had this problem with the ladies) should just give up NOW and save lots of lost time and money.<\/p>\n Harsh words? Not really. My experience and the experience of every single person I know in the marketing education business confirms this THOUSANDS of times over.<\/p>\n You see, the process for business success is this:<\/p>\n You try something and it fails. So you try about a hundred variations on the same theme… and they all fail, too.<\/p>\n Then you drop that and try something else. And that fails. Then the hundred different variations on thang #2 you tried all fail.<\/p>\n So you move on to thang #3. And thang #4. And thang #101.<\/p>\n And THEY all fail.<\/p>\n Until finally, thang #203 works.<\/p>\n A little bit. A \u201cbase hit\u201d so to speak.<\/p>\n So you tweak thang #203 endlessly until it turns into a 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0base hit.<\/p>\n Then you move on to thang #204. And that fails. And the process repeats.<\/p>\n Until thang #507. Which turns out to be another base hit.<\/p>\n Ad infinitum.<\/p>\n Until thang #999. Which is the home run you\u2019ve been dreaming about.<\/p>\n Until that peters out and you move on to thang #1,000. Which fails so badly, it stinks up the place with a smell that lingers for months.<\/p>\n On and on and on.<\/p>\n Ya dig?<\/p>\n But the whiny, excuse-making pussies with no testicles never even make it past a VERY half-assed and improperly implemented attempt at thang #1.<\/p>\n Problem identified.<\/p>\n Listen, NOTHING has ever come easy for me. Including my very first success. At age 7, I taught myself how to play the guitar.<\/p>\n I HAD to teach myself. Because the owner of Henry\u2019s Music in Barberton, Ohio refused to give me lessons. He said that he had never had a person that young ever stick with it.<\/p>\n By age 10, the folks in Barberton, Ohio were calling me a \u201cprodigy.\u201d<\/p>\n Which couldn\u2019t have been further from the truth.<\/p>\n You see, I LIVED and SLEPT (literally!) with that instrument. I had my 10,000 hours in when I was still in my very early teens.<\/p>\n I was most definitely NOT a prodigy and it did not come easy. I worked at it NON-STOP. Even when I encountered NOTHING but ZERO progress and failure at every turn.<\/p>\n BTW, that 10,000 rule is for pikers. The rule of thumb and the bare MINIMUM for someone\u00a0truly<\/em>\u00a0serious about their art, skill or passion is THIS:<\/p>\n 10 hours a day… every day… for 10 years.<\/p>\n For the mathematically challenged, that\u2019s 36, 500 hours.<\/p>\n NOW are you getting a better grasp of why the whiny, excuse-making pussy with no testicles never succeeds with ANYTHING?<\/p>\n Could a person like that change?<\/p>\n Of course!<\/p>\n The sad truth is that 99.9% won\u2019t. Because… \u201cFor as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.\u201d<\/p>\n And most people don\u2019t know how to change their deeply ingrained state\/religion programming… or they just don\u2019t have the fortitude to do the gut-wrenching and emotionally painful inner work required to reprogram themselves.<\/p>\n Which is why I started this message today with, \u201cWhy most people on my list should just give up NOW.\u201d<\/p>\n Not necessarily a pleasant message.
