At the young age of 18 and only days after high school graduation…<\/p>\n

…with no money and no marketable skills that would pay more than $3.35\/hour — the minimum wage back in 1983…<\/p>\n

…my mom wished me good luck as she left town with her new obnoxious fat ass husband…<\/p>\n

… leaving me sitting on the curb in front of the home I had spent the last 18 years in.<\/p>\n

With nothing but three changes of clothes and an early 70\u2019s Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. (Man, how I wish I still had that guitar.)<\/p>\n
