So today is May 5th.<\/p>\n

Cinco de Mayo.<\/p>\n

Many people in the United States think it\u2019s Mexico’s Independence Day. It\u2019s not. Their Independence Day is celebrated on September 16. (Now THAT\u2019S a party!)<\/p>\n

Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for \u201cMay 5th\u201d) is the date observed to commemorate the Mexican army\u2019s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.<\/p>\n

You see, the French sent forces to occupy Mexico over… go ahead… take a wild guess.<\/p>\n

Come on, you know this. What are ALL wars about?<\/p>\n

M-O-N-E-Y!<\/p>\n

Mexico was in a financial pickle because of their civil war between liberals and conservatives. And they defaulted on their debt payments.<\/p>\n

But those fruity croissant chompers across the pond wanted their money. And they were willing to kill to get it.<\/p>\n

But really… calling the Mexican army\u2019s victory over French forces \u201cunlikely\u201d is a bit of a stretch, don\u2019t-cha think?<\/p>\n

I mean… think about it. After Napoleon Bonaparte, what war HAVEN\u2019T the French lost?<\/p>\n

Now don\u2019t go getting your European briefs in a bind there, Pierre. The CORRECT spelling of my last name is Galipeau… so a little French blood runs through this body o\u2019 mine. I think I\u2019m entitled to bash my ancestors a little bit.<\/p>\n

So money… war… innocent people brutally murdered… all in the name of the people who finance the wars (and they always finance BOTH sides, by the way) enriching their already stuffed coffers with more blood money.<\/p>\n

It’s always the same old song and dance.<\/p>\n

And as far as I can tell this cycle has been going on for at least the past 5,000 years and will probably continue for another 5,000.<\/p>\n

And nobody gives a shit. All we do is turn these dates into an excuse to be drunk gluttonous fools for a night.<\/p>\n

Now for some reason, Americans feel a Mexican holiday is a good excuse for them to get drunk. And that is what many of them will be doing later today.<\/p>\n

I think how most Americans view Cinco de Mayo is analogous to how they\u2019re dealing with their financial future.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re getting drunk TODAY as a way of dealing with what is an inevitable financial apocalypse TOMORROW.<\/p>\n

Their wages haven\u2019t kept up with inflation for damn near 30 years now.<\/p>\n

They can barely get by on what they\u2019re making and if they stay on the current track, there\u2019s little to no hope of things getting better.<\/p>\n

Ever.<\/p>\n

If most had to come up with $400 cash (not on a credit card)to cover an emergency, they\u00a0couldn\u2019t do it without selling their kids to science for\u00a0experimental purposes.<\/p>\n

However… for the minority who ARE paying attention… I\u2019m here to tell ya…<\/p>\n

There IS hope.<\/p>\n

But it ain\u2019t in a J-O-B.<\/p>\n

You simply MUST start a business of your own… poste haste.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the ONLY way your income can possibly keep up (and exceed) inflation.<\/p>\n
