Dear Friend,<\/p>\n

I have a confession…<\/p>\n

After a long absence from my blog, I’ve been meaning to start posting at www.DobermanDan.com again for a couple months now.<\/p>\n

But I’ve been sooooo booked up with client gigs I barely have time to sleep.<\/p>\n

So an entire blog post always seemed a daunting task with what little personal time I have left each day.<\/p>\n

But yesterday I had an epiphany…<\/p>\n

<insert light bulb appearing above my demented noggin here> \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I can certainly write a simple email with some semblance of frequency. THAT seems much less daunting than an entire blog post.<\/p>\n

So… after a long online absence…<\/p>\n

I’m back!<\/p>\n

So let’s get this party started.<\/p>\n

Are you wondering why I paid Google $619,762.81?<\/p>\n

That’s easy.<\/p>\n

‘Cuz I got it all back.<\/p>\n

Multiplied at LEAST 7-fold!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ahhh… those were the good ole days… before all the various incarnations of those dreaded Google slaps.<\/p>\n

Sadly, as much as I want to give “big brother” Google more money, they won’t let me do it.<\/p>\n

I’ve had Adwords accounts for four different businesses canceled by them because, in their words, I use direct response copy instead of an Amazon-like ecommerce site. They adore those… and despise direct response copy. (Well, the strong direct response copy that gets orders.)<\/p>\n

Whatever.<\/p>\n

It was a big blow to my income at the time… but it ain’t no mo’.<\/p>\n

In fact, I’ve discovered about 7 different things that work as well or BETTER.<\/p>\n

And unlike Adwords, several of these allow me to fish in fishing holes TEEMING with starving fish…<\/p>\n

And I’m the ONLY fisherman there!<\/strong><\/p>\n

You see, nowadays on Adwords you’re competing against the best fishermen in the world… with pockets so deep they can outspend you 100,000 to 1.<\/p>\n

Some 1 MILLION to one.<\/p>\n

So good luck with THAT.<\/p>\n

Adwords ain’t what it used to be. And it’s getting worse every day for us’n “kitchen table” entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

It’s wayyyy past time you find some alternative media.<\/p>\n

In fact, if I were you, I wouldn’t rest until you’ve found at least 3 different media to replace Google Adwords.<\/p>\n

Use Adwords for testing and finding other media to advertise on… but don’t count on it long term for customer acquisition.<\/p>\n
