The King Of Selling

Dear Friend,

Do you know what the "King" of selling is?

I, for one, did not… until recently.

I just received a CD and transcription from Ben Settle this week called The King Of Selling.

I wish I would have discovered this secret YEARS ago. I've been losing a lot of money by not using "The King" (not Elvis) in my entrepreneurial ventures.

I've made a lot of the typical mistakes in this blog that Ben talks about in his report. I would have a lot more subscribers by now (and probably a decent second income stream) from this blog if I'd had The King Of Selling report a couple years ago.

This is essential stuff for any marketer.

But you can't buy this CD and report anywhere.

You can get it FREE, along with Ben's excellent new book, Crackerjack Selling Secrets, when you become a member of his Crackerjack Selling CD Club.

This is NOT an affiliate pitch.

I won't make one thin dime even if every single one of my subscribers signs up for Ben's Crackerjack Selling CD Club. I'm recommending it because I truly believe it is "must have" stuff for any marketer.

If you've been reading my blog for any length of time you know I don't pimp out my list with a bunch of affiliate offers.

In fact, I've NEVER sent an affiliate offer to my subscribers.

(I get hit up all the time, BTW… and have turned them all down.)

I've only recently offered a product of my own for sale and that was done pretty low key.

So believe you me… when I recommend something… I truly believe in it.

Check out Ben Settle's Crackerjack Selling system at:

That is NOT an affiliate link… so you don't need to get your socialistic panties in a bind that DD is going to "make money off you".

To be honest, I'd really like to… but in this case I won't.

And that's all I got to say about that.

Hey, I've got an idea…

It's Friday.

Why don't you take the rest of the day off and do something fun?

All the best,

    Hey Dan,

Thanks for the referal to Ben's site.

Fyi, I would have clicked through even it it was an affiliate link. With all the great content you continue to provide, the least we can do as subscriber's of yours, is to visit high quality sites via your ref. link.

Hey, I think I will take the rest of today off!! It's nice and sunny out, so I'm outta here. ;-)

    Take care,
    Darren

Dan, I have no problem with you making a commission.
You earn it by all the fantastic info you give away

PS Go ahead and stick an affiliate link in. It's cool

    Dan,

I've been told by some of the better IM teachers that what we need to do is build the trust of our readers if we want to successfully market to them, by giving away free advice and useful content or establishing ourselves as experts – or all of the above. Then our readers feel comfortable buying what we recommend, whether it's our own product or an affiliate offer.

DD, you're a shining example of that philosophy. Your readers probably won't be put off if you stick in an affiliate offer, it's more likely we're going to take your recommendation seriously.

My thinking is, if I'm going to recommend something to people that can improve their lives, I deserve a profit or a commission.

Weird… I was on the fence on this, but your blog post knocked me over.

What salesy mind-trick did you use on me?

    Colin,

It's the "authority" persuasion trigger. Same principle that's used with endorsed mailings.

Dan has authority status in your world view.

    No, it's just Dan's doberman "magnetism"…

    lol! Doberman magnetism. That's funny.

As long as you keep feeding me on time, I'll say whatever you want!
And let us be blunt, my picture on this website is what really does the selling. You'd be living in a YMCA if it weren't for me.
