Hey, I couldn't agree more about the major media outlets, in particular television. That's why I quit watching it entirely years ago. Ok, on occasion I'll catch a few minutes of History Channel or something and a few times a season a baseball game. Come to think of it, last time I watched any TV was when I was home from work with a flu.

One of my American friends I used to hang out in Costa Rica used to say they could make soccer a lot more exciting if they'd take away the goalies. Then we'd have soccer scores like basketball games.

I don't see anything in Soccer but my wife is glued to the TV when a World Cup game is on.

I like to see scoring. They get excited in the middle of the field when nothing is going on.

Tis' true, there were actually not just a lot of millionaires made in the last great depression, but many of the companies that have been around for years and thrived through the good times were actually started in the depression!
