"Doberman Dan" has a good ring to it. "Golden Retrieve Frank"… not quite the same.

"Toy Poodle Daryl" could be worse.

I thought it was Shi… won't finish that line. Haha.

So what you're saying… is we should all pick out cool names…

    Like… Doberman Dan…

    or… The Prince Of Print…

For now, I'll stick with Courtney…

But I was wondering where your name came from.

    The legend of Doberman Dan.

I remember when you had the bodybuilding products Anabolic Secrets and Egg Recipes for Bodybuilders Who Hate Eggs. I always thought the Doberman Dan was a play on words that start with D and showing the muscular Doberman. Then when you started the marketing series and showed your picture with Donner, I thought it was because you liked dobermans. Now I know the whole story. Thanks for sharing!

BTW, I saw a dog the size of Cheeky kill a doberman before…he got stuck in its throat. Sorry, bad joke. I couldn't resist!

P.S. A true BTW. My wife is from Colombia also. I don't know if you know Spanish or not, but if you need a GREAT course from beginner to expert, check out bilingualamerica.com I've tried Pimsluer, Rosetta Stone, FSI, and many others and this is the BEST one by far!

Oh man… I was laughing out loud at the little dog killing the big one! I'm gonna tell that one to my Colombiana.

You're a brave man to marry a Colombiana. Do NOT get her angry! :)

I knew what you were going to say there with the "Shi…" ! :)

  • dobermandan (author) said:

Actually, I like it. It has a good ring to it.

Now go buy the URL. :)

That was fun! I'm glad you're doing the 30 day challenge and the fact that we're benefiting from it. Thanks!

Time to celebrate my big video debut, stud.

Shake the leash and let's go for a refreshing poop on the neighbor's freshly cut lawn.

Boy, it's a good thing I never adopted a nickname based on my retired greyhounds! "SofaSpudOwen" wouldn't quite evoke an image of energy. :-) I used to have an extra couch that was normally covered with two big male hounds – it was theirs!

I think the popularity of this vid proves the adage I first read from the other Dan [Kennedy] that people care more about pets than other people, and putting one's pet in a newsletter practically guarantees it gets read.

    Nice dogs Dan.

Sometimes I miss my long-gone dobe… but I live w the cat lady. Even tho both kitties are over 2 feet long and over 20 pounds, "Giant Tabby Dave" or "Huge Mane Coon Dave" doesn't approach the level of cool that is "Doberman Dan"

  • dobermandan (author) said:

I don't know. "Huge Mane Coon Dave" sounds good. I got a good laugh out of it.

    "SofaSpudOwen" lol

Probably not the image you were going for.
