    Wow. Brad's been around, eh?

While I don't always do what I'm supposed to, scheduling "guilt-free play" is easier to make time for.

    Thanx very much

I really liked his "guilt-free play" idea. That was very liberating for me.

    Yeah – "guilt-free play" – like it. I'll be back in 30 minutes. :-)

    Have fun!

I think Brad's right about the guilt-free part, even if it's not play. My major impediment isn't play, it's all the other work I have to do. Full time job, part time business. It doesn't leave me much time to write. And I find the more I feel guilty about not getting the writing done, the more I seem to procrastinate. The writing grows in my mind as a project and a hopeless feeling takes over. In fact, I'm feeling guilty for watching Brad's video which you so generously shared with us. :-)

Brad's advice ties in nicely with what you taught us about Gary Halbert's method of letting ideas percolate.

I can really relate to this.

Getting that little Apimac Timer program for the Mac and setting it for 33 minutes and 33 seconds has been a big help. My little 33:33 segments take a chunk out of each project every day so I don't feel overwhelmed. I know I'm making progress.

This is coming at a extremely relevant time.

Got too many deadlines and not enough time.

It's like when a TV show character is watching TV and the TV show is exactly what the character needs to hear to move the plot forward.

    I know what you mean.

It came at the perfect time for me, too.

The key words in this video are GUILT FREE play time.

Play time sucks if you continue to think and worry about your projects and deadlines.

It's great to hear confirmation from reliable sources when I have put a new system into place,
and this post Dan was one of those little winks from the universe confirming I'm on the
    right track!

I now only schedule 45min blocks of productivity time each hour – per 7 hour block ( or whatever) time slot per day I commit to "working".

Then finish each hour up with say five min. for a whizz and another drink or snack then maybe 10 min on the exercise bike in front of a motivational dvd or program or blasting a bit of old school metal music from back in the day to help revive my killer competitive instinct that has seemingly faded and been beaten down a bit over the last few trying years.

Seems to really be helping me.

    Keep 'em coming Dan!

    B,

    Thanks for sharing that, Barry.

It's amazing how many people have contacted me and said Brad's tip came at a perfect time for them. (Me included)

    A big thanks to Brad!
