Hey y'all,

(I may have been born a Yankee, but my mom was from Mississippi. And now I'm a converted southerner... so yes, I'm qualified to use the term "y'all".)

I really appreciate all the comments, love and support. Keep 'em coming.

Best,
Dan

P.S. @Bart... I LOVE that headline you came up with. I think I'm gonna steal it for something.

Dan,

A lesson I had to learn is to accept what I can from whatever source it comes. Usually.:-) If they don't present anything I want to learn - they send junk - I look for the unsubscribe link. I only have so much time and time is the one commodity we can't replace.

As for you offending anyone, another lesson I had to learn is you can't waste your life worrying what other people think of you. And the irony is, the less you worry about that, the more people tend to like you. Keep being Doberman Dan. He's the guy we like.

You are doing what you should Dan- that is being yourself. Personally, I am glad when one of my subscribers makes a ridiculous statement about being offended over nothing and removes themselves from my list. Odds are they won't use my shared wisdom and/or purchase my products anyway! As I've learned from Craig Garber your marketing, posts, sales pages, etc. are the 1st "thinning of the herd" to reach a market hungry for your products/services. 2 rules- 1) don't sweat the small stuff (especially from small thinkers) and 2) it's all small stuff.

To Your success,
Craig

P.S. Love Doberman's but I currently have a Pit Bull!

Doberman Dan,

You are real and honest and if one in a million don't like it (or even 100,000 in a million don't like it) then the other million will LOVE you for it.

This is one of only two blogs I read on the net. Bring it on mate.

Best,

Keep on offending...you are like a good "dutch uncle" that everyone needs, especially the ones that aren't reading your blog (unfortunately).
DD-I think that your M.O. could be encapsulated as such: "Former Black Ops Drill Instructor Gains Heart of Gold and Now Devotes His Life to Helping Others Lose their Girlie-Man Ways!"

whatcha think?

Hey there, Dan!

Great post as usual. I agree with all of the above comments. I believe it was Dan Kennedy who said, "If you're not offending somebody on a daily basis you're not trying hard enough."...or somethin along those lines. Love your posts...another vote for the "non-softened" Doberman Dan.

Dan,

If people are offended by what you've posted on your blog, I have to wonder where in the world they spend their time. Do they have a day job? Do they interact with other people in the business world? Do they watch prime time tv? (Okay, so I don't do the last one, but I do the first two.)

If they can't see the heart of teacher/mentor coming through these posts, then they need to get their heads out of their collective rear ends and take a look around.

Love your blog the way it is. Wouldn't soften it up at all.

Thanks for all you do.
