Donner, the doberman you see in the various rotating photos on the immediate right, celebrated his 12th birthday on August 18th.
He sleeps a little more than he used to… but he'll still "snap to" like a little Marine at my beck and call.
He's as healthy and active as ever, too. Runs and plays outside four to five times a day.

Dear Friend,
We're celebrating two important things in my household today.
The first is the 234th anniversary of our nation's declaration of independence.
The second is the Colombiana's birthday.
Both are a pretty big deal to me because both events have greatly contributed to my personal happiness.
