I bet a letter like this would beat the pants off the postcard… especially if you selected the right lists.

This probably wasn't that expensive. It's only one page.

You could do it even cheaper by doing it as a 2-color, instead of full color like in this example. You don't need to go full color to make the check look real. 2-color would work just fine.
