…and all kinds of other good things.

I started back in the day when the ONLY marketing/media options available were direct mail and space ads. (TV and radio were available, of course. But not within my “kitchen table entrepreneur” budget.)

So that’s how I learned this business.

However… I’m a bonafide frickin’ online marketing PIONEER.

I started selling online back before the Internet was even a viable media yet… back in 1996.

And I sold REAL products to REAL people.

Hard copy info products and nutritional supplements.

Not ebooks to the biz-op/make money crowd.

Mainstream consumer markets.

I was making online marketing work back when most of these self-anointed IM gurus were still in elementary school.

They’re down by HALF.

For a LOT of online marketers.

At first I thought it was just an Aweber thang.

But people on all different platforms are reporting the same thing.

Yeah, I know open rates aren’t a moneymaking metric.

But when open rates get cut by HALF…  it affects sales big time.

So this is a problem.

A BIG problem.

ESPECIALLY if email is the ONLY way you communicate with your customers.

If that’s the case, a little snafu like this could put you out of business.

Literally.

These things happen online.

For example, the “Google Slap” of 2009 put THOUSANDS of people out of business in the blink of an eye.
